Last weekend was so much fun!!! My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and cousin all came in town to go to what was the biggest shopping weekend of my life! We got up at 5:00am to leave Ft. Worth and head out to Canton, TX for the First Monday Trade Days. There were lots of people there all with a mission of finding good deals! And there were lots to be found! I don't think I can stress just how big this place is. For those of you that have been know that there is even a map so you can find everything from high end fancy stuff all the way to someone's garage sale that they happened to bring a bunch of junk and sit it in the grass hoping someone would buy. Then the fun thing is that all the ladies push around their shopping baskets since the place is too big to carry around all your purchases. Some people even rented scooters to ride around to all the places, clearly most did not "need" them, but even I was jealous of them at the end of the day when my feet and legs had felt like they ran a marathon. Then after we had recovered from the first day of shopping and went to dinner to relax, we hit up the outlet malls! We spent the night in Terrell and headed back to Canton for the morning to go back over a few regrets (not purchased items) and then back to Fort Worth. It was a great weekend with the girls and so fun to see all the new decor for the home. I could have spent all my money just in holiday decorations, but I resisted and Colby was proud.
